- Any of various crustaceans of the order Decapoda, characteristically having ten legs, each joined to a segment of the thorax. Crabs, hermit crabs, lobsters, and shrimp are decapods.
- A cephalopod mollusk, such as a squid or cuttlefish, having ten armlike tentacles.
